Project Engineer at the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering's Water Research Laboratory (WRL)
Gabriela is a Project Engineer with over 3 years of experience in the Australian water industry. As part of the WRL team, she has contributed to a range of projects within the coastal, environmental and hydraulics fields. These include beach scraping feasibility studies; acid sulfate soil data collection and classification; and prototype testing of proprietary stormwater systems, assessing gross pollutants and nutrients removal rates. Gabriela is also proficient in the use of spatial data and GIS tools in a range of applications. Prior to joining WRL, she worked in the field of underwater inspections of urban infrastructure assets in Australia, where she managed the entire portfolio of condition assessments and inspection projects applying a detailed analytical approach.
