Elisabeth is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the UNSW Water Research Centre. Her research interests are focused on climate and hydrological extremes, future projections of changes in extremes and downstream impacts (e.g. on agriculture and other sectors). Prior to joining the WRC, Elisabeth was a Research Hydrologist at the Bureau of Meteorology where she contributed to the development of the Bureau’s Australian Water Outlook and conducted research into seasonal hydrological forecasting, and projections of climate change impacts on water resources.
Elisabeth completed a PhD in Earth Sciences at the University of Melbourne, looking at the impacts of hydro-climate extremes on global agriculture, and she holds an M.Sc. in Environmental Science and Technology from the Technical University of Berlin.
