Calvin He

Calvin is a postdoctoral research associate at UNSW Water Research Centre, and the ARC Training Centre for the Transformation of Australia’s Biosolids Resource (Transforming Biosolids). He completed his PhD in Environmental Engineering at UNSW, focusing on desalination, contaminant removal and electrochemistry. His current research involves the destruction of persistent contaminants, particularly electrochemical methods for the defluorination of PFAS. Calvin is also interested in a wide range of emerging contaminants, and their behaviour in treatment systems and the natural environment.
